Mr. Oxley, through his quiet support and gentle humor, made a profound impact on my life. He possessed the rare gift of a healing presence, offering a steady, silent strength that spoke far louder than words ever could. In the challenging spaces of my youth, his simple act of 'being there' became a sanctuary. Today, as I work with young people, those lessons learned alongside Mr. Oxley continue to give me strength and power my hope that I can be there for others the way he stood strong beside me. I am forever grateful to have known Bruce Oxley.

Legendary and super weird dude. He taught me so much, and I wish he was still with us so I could give him a gigantic hug and tell him about how his believing in me helped me through so much, and I think about him all the time. He walked behind me going up some super hard pass in the Sierras on a back packing trip while I was crying and thinking it was too hard and there was no way I would make it. He just kept saying to me "one foot in front of the other and you'll get to the top." He was right. That is how I approach all the hard stuff in my life now. One foot in front of the other no matter how hard it gets.

Just joining my other '05's in giving. We need thoughtful, responsible adults--today, more than ever, it seems. Thacher does its best helping us get there.

Big Gymkhana!! Our son had an amazing experience. We saw a young man who celebrated tremendous success with his horse whom he has been deeply committed and connected to, be grateful and humble with his instructors and gracious and supportive with his peers, while still beautifully managing his own disappointment in some of the events. Next challenge: saying farewell to his horse and refocusing on finals!
