A $220,000 gift will be unlocked when 800 donors give during the Walker Bell Challenge. This is equivalent to four financial aid awards—one for each grade (when we reach 600 gifts, we unlock $110,000!).

The third annual Walker Bell Challenge kicks off April 24!
The “walker” bell has called the Thacher community together for dinner for generations, and we look forward to bringing the Thacher community together once more for a week of events, engagement, and giving.
Throughout the week of April 24-29, you are invited to join our students, faculty, staff, and community for Assembly, classroom visits, guest speakers, and special performances. Come see and experience the many small moments whose collective impact makes Thacher, Thacher.

The student experience, and Thacher’s ability to bring incredible—and incredibly talented and diverse—students together from all over the world requires tremendous community support each year. The Walker Bell Challenge is a great opportunity to show your support for our students, faculty, and programs. Your gift today helps unlock important challenge funds for our financial aid program, so we may continue to increase access to a Thacher education. One in three Thacher students today receives financial aid, and thanks to your previous support and growth in the Annual Fund, we now award over $4M in support, a number that has increased by more than $1M in the last five years.
